- Retention principles
BRS LLC retains records based on the following governance principles:
- Purpose limitation: retain what is needed to deliver services, manage the relationship, and meet legal/financial obligations.
- Data minimization: avoid retaining unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
- Contract alignment: where retention terms are defined in a service agreement, those terms govern.
- Legal hold: preserve records when reasonably necessary for disputes, audits, or compliance inquiries.
- Controlled disposal: retire records via reasonable deletion or secure destruction practices.
- Record categories we may retain
Depending on the services requested and how you interact with us, records may include:
- Client engagement records: statements of work, communications, meeting notes, and deliverables.
- Operational records: onboarding details, support tickets, and project tracking artifacts.
- Financial records: invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations (often processed via third-party providers).
- Website interactions: contact form submissions, basic server logs, and cookie consent status (where enabled).
We do not request confidential patient data through this website. If your project context could involve sensitive information, we will align secure channels and retention controls as part of engagement scoping. - Typical retention schedule (indicative)
